NBN School Support Services

Our professional staff can work with youth with intellectual disabilities and behavioral disorders such as:

  • Autism Spectrum Disorder
  • Oppositional Defiance Disorder
  • Sensory Processing Disorder
  • Trauma
  • Attention Deficit Disorder

We can support the school district by providing:

  • Functional behavioral assessments (FBA)
  • Behavior intervention plans
  • Successful transitions back to school and within the school environment
  • Functional communication training for those who are non verbal/limited verbally
  • Collaboration with interdisciplinary teams
  • Implementation of visual interventions
  • Teacher/family training
  • Appropriate social skill training to foster successful interactions
  • Positive reinforcement to motivate learning
  • Reduction in challenging behaviors
  • Improvement in activities of daily living (ADLs)
  • Data Collection / Progress Reports

Programs we offier:

  • 1:1 Support from a qualified Behavior Interventionist / RBT - Our staff will improve the flow of your classroom by implementing
    various behavior analytic, evidence based techniques. Preference assessments are performed on a case by case basis, from
    which staff will develop the most effective reinforcement system. All of our behavior interventionists are supervised by a Board Certified
    Behavior Analyst or assistant Behavior Analyst.
  • BCBA Consultation Services -
    • Functional behavior assessments and positive behavior support plans targeted to the classroom environment
    • Weekly/Monthly classroom consultation services
    • Trainings for staff, which may include: Classroom Management, Token Economies, Crisis Prevention, Picture Exchange Communication System (PECS), Social Skills, Individualized Programming
  • Participation in IEP development and meetings
